The North Mayo Heritage Centre housed in the nineteenth-century outbuildings at Enniscoe House will host the Buildings of Mayo Photographic Exhibition which is curated and presented as a joint venture between the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht in association with Mayo County Council. This touring photographic exhibition promotes the publication of the Mayo survey of the built heritage of the county.  The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH) is the largest ever survey of the post-1700 architectural heritage of County Mayo, some highlights of which are presented within this exhibition. The North Mayo Heritage Centre has been selected to host this exhibition as it demonstrates good practice in the adaptive re-use of historic buildings.  The opening times are Monday-Sunday 10.00-16.00 at the North Mayo Heritage Centre 01.10.17-31-10.17.

The opening of the Buildings of County Mayo Exhibition will form part of the launch of the Cultural Programme 2018 for the North Mayo Heritage Centre on Sunday 1st October 2017 at 2pm by Michael Ring, Minister for Rural & Community Development.
